Whitewater

Project Brief: The brief for this project was to provide a sustainable landscaping solution fora disused water feature.
Firstly the redundant water feature is emptied of water to prepare the project to initiate.
The material and machinery arrive to site and the project area is secured. Drainage pebble is laid out and levelled.
Geotextile membrane is laid out over the stone, inspection manholes are left exposed for finishing later. The soil and compost mixes are placed in pre-agreed planting locations.
The trees and shrubs are planted through the geotextile layer into the previously prepared pits. Ballylusk’ dust is spread out, raked off and compacted.
The final product, complete with new benches which transformed the area into a new feature for the shopping centre.
