Once again, we have proved our dedication and commitment to quality with our success at the recent ALCI Awards which was hosted in the National Convention Centre on Friday the 6th of November.
SAP Landscapes received the following awards:
Private garden under 5k, Seaview Terrace - Winner
Residential Development, Bracken Park - Award of Merit
Commercial Development, German Embassy - Award of Merit
Private Garden over 30k, Leinster Woods - Award of Merit
Design and Build, Leinster Woods - Winner
Residential, Commercial and Public Auth. Maintenance - Winner
Most coveted of the 6 category awards received was the Design and Build Award with the judges commenting that ‘There were a number of great entries this year deserving of this award but our decision to give SAP the design and build award for this garden in Kildare was based on 2 factors, firstly how well SAP responded to the site and the families specific needs, and secondly, the wide range of materials and plants used to create a number of different areas with different moods and functionality.’
Our award for the maintenance of Kildare Village was proudly received by Accounts Supervisor Dione Hunwick and Head Gardener Tom Tobin. The judging panel observed how the presentation of the shopping village was meticulous despite the inflexibility for the team of having to work around huge volumes of shoppers. The judges commented on how 'the village was spotless, and looking very sharp, all containers (and there are lots) were well watered and weed free. We saw great use of seasonal colour/bedding. Good shaping and pruning of box, yew, holm oak, something not seen everywhere. And all debris and arisings from work removed. A very impressive entry and a clear winner in this maintenance category.'
This approach and high standard of professionalism in construction and planning skills has enabled SAP to work in partnership with our clients, together creating impressive award winning projects.
